At eXpedition5.0, everything we do is rooted in a deep love for Toyota 4x4s. Our journey began in February 2009 with a simple but life-changing decision: trading a German sedan for a Toyota Hilux DC 4.0 V6 4x4. That same Hilux is still with us today—a symbol of our unwavering commitment to reliability, performance, and adventure.

Before eXpedition5.0, we spent decades in the mining industry, maintaining everything from small vehicles to heavy-duty equipment. Between 1989 and 2013, we developed a unique understanding of mechanical systems, refined during our time designing and operating chrome plants. This hands-on experience gave us a fresh perspective on what vehicles are truly capable of.

But even with all this knowledge, we struggled to find a workshop that could meet our high standards. We knew Toyota owners deserved better—more personalised service, greater attention to detail, and modifications that wouldn’t compromise reliability. That’s why, in December 2020, we decided to channel our skills and passion into building something of our own.
